Quick Chocolate Mug Cake


Whether you’re craving for cake in the middle of the night or in a rush to make a morning cake for a kid/husband’s simple birthday treat, this mug cake is a great option!

 

Ingredients

  • 4 tbsp flour

  • 2 tbsp sugar

  • 3 tbsp pure cocoa powder

  • 1 egg

  • 3 tbsp milk powder

  • 2 tbsp oil or butter

  • vanilla essence

​Procedure

  1. In a large mug (about 500mL), mix flour, sugar, cocoa powder, milk powder, oil/melted butter and vanilla essence.

  2. Crack the egg into the mug and mix thoroughly.

  3. With a silicon spatula, wipe clean the brim of the mug to avoid burning thin chocolate mixture.

  4. In an oven preheated to 190 degrees, bake the chocolate mug cake for 5-7 minutes.

Tips and Tricks If you want it more like a choco lava cake, bake it in 180 degrees for 5 minutes. Make it more chocolaty by mixing chunks of your favorite chocolate/s!
